  1. Convert Your GIF to a Compatible Size:

    • Slack supports GIF uploads as custom emoji, but it must be:

      • Square (e.g., 128x128 pixels).
      • Maximum 128KB.
      • Animated GIFs are supported (though Slack may trim or compress them).

  2. Open Slack in a Browser:

    • Go to your Slack workspace at https://<your-workspace>.slack.com.
    • Click on your workspace name in the top left.

  3. Upload Your Custom GIF Emoji:

    • Click the "Add Custom Emoji" button.
